I am currently without. Add daily expenses, Isabella’s vaccinations, cervical tests that cost 3 grand and 3 injections that cost SEVEN THOUSAND PESOS EACH and we’re talking about no savings here! I am weeping (inside) as I am typing this. Pathetic. 23, with a child and without a cent in the piggy bank. I might as well give up on life. Because it seems like it wants to send me to hell anyways.
Oh, did I mention that my appetite for flipflops has grown considerably since I haven’t bought a pair in about a year? It pisses me off that these spoiled brats prance around in their overpriced, Daddy-bought Havaianas and have more pairs at home than they could ever use in an entire year. And here I am, a miserable cunt, who has been loving flipflops (not Havaianas, mind you) for the longest time and can’t even manage to purchase a decent pair! (Except for my Nike’s and Reef, of course.) I could just slap someone with a size 37/38 metallic gold top right now!
I’d settle for Old Navy’s and these Puma slippers that I saw on eBay. Havaianas are great .. but they’re just overly priced. I’m all for quality control (and let’s not forget supply and demand) but .. *sigh* Let’s face it. Maybe I just don’t want to jump into the path that all the lemmings are taking. Still, I feel a certain gloom that I’m already on my way there.
Hudathunk slippers would be my happy thought today?

There’s a fresh batch of Globe slippers in Shoe Salon in Shang. I bought a pair just recently significantly cheaper than Havaianas but so much softer and comfortable in my opinion.
You should give em a try. They don’t have flashy designs but I recall you being a lover of simple black thong rubber slippers. ^_^

Havaianas cost an arm and a leg now especially with the summer season rolling in. Globe rubber thong slippers only cost less than 500. That’s hella cheap for slippers that are softer to the feet than Havaianas. And I lurve their plain black ones.
