Some of the greatest players to grace the UEFA Champions League will be at Old Trafford on Tuesday, 13 March 2007.
Ronaldinho, Steven Gerrard, Paolo Maldini, Ronaldo and other stars will play for Marcello Lippi’s Europe XI in a mouthwatering match against Sir Alex Ferguson’s current United Side.
The match celebrates 50 years since United entered European competition and half a century since the Treaty of Rome, which paved the way for a united Europe. Proceeds from the game will go to The Manchester United Foundation, which delivers a range of educational opportunities to young people including football coaching, skills training, personal development and life changing experiences.
